Curcani

Last week, the ECM team together with 3 gypsy brothers (a pastor and 2 mission workers) from Bacau (Eastern part of Romania), were able to go and minister in a couple of locations in Budesti and Curcani. The Word of God was preached and His name was praised through songs and testimonies of the gypsy brothers (they even sang in the gypsy language). It was amazing to see how many people gathered once our brothers started singing and preaching the Gospel, and they all listened very carefully to everything that was said! The testimonies of the 3 gypsy brothers were powerful because the Lord saved them from very bad and dangerous things and turned them into His workers!

The days 21st, 22nd and 23rd of May 2013 showed me clearly what impact has the Word of God in the mouth of gypsy people who addresses other gypsy people. A huge one!
The three gypsy bothers came from Bacau at the invitation of one of our brothers and shared from the Gospel with the people in Budesti and Curcani. The receptiveness, the openness, the presence in a big number and even the very bold way of sharing what repentance really is unveiled one more time the need of a gypsy spiritual leader in these places.
These days were so important for me because they got me close to understanding better a way of life that sometimes seems very puzzling: the gypsy way.
Please join us in prayer for a gypsy leader and also for a young man in Curcani, Aurel. Aurel manifested his interest for the Lord and for having his own copy of the Bible.

All praises be to our Lord because He has the wright people for the wright occasions that read, listen and keep the things written in the Book of Life.
Revelation 1:3 "Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near".

Please pray for all the gypsies who came to our outreaches and heard the Gospel!
May the Lord work with power in them! We want the town of Budesti and Curcani changed for His glory!
Amin.
