Dear friends,
We have two small updates from the work the Lord is doing here, in Romania.
The Gypsy camp in Campina is really opening up to us as we preach the Gospel. Some men responded with testimonies they trust in our Lord!
Meanwhile an Evangelist associated with us living near the mountains of Romania, has been working the villages in that area and people are coming to faith and baptism, thanks to our Lord's faithfulness.

In Christ,

Ps. There is a small clip attached of the river baptism where a young man from Angola confessed Christ. To Him be the glory!

Dear friends,

We want to share with you some pictures from this week's Ministry to the city of Campina (2 hours away from Bucharest).
The area we started doing ministry in is mostly populated by very poor gypsies. Every time we go, they gather around and listen to the preaching and the singing.
One interesting thing they do is that every time they see Dwight, they find him a chair to sit down on, so that he can preach.

Pray for these people that they look up to the Lord for salvation!
In Christ,
The ECM Team, Romania

Dear friends,
This is a short update on what the Lord is doing in Campina, Romania.

"Catalin and Cristina are a young gypsy couple we met through their relatives who live next door. They have three kids. After their small house burned down a couple of years ago, we raised money for construction materials and were able to help them rebuild it. The Lord also made it possible that we would hire them for small jobs and show that we mean good and respect them.

Through the grace of God we started to visit them with George (our Gypsy Pastor in Budesti) and that had a great impact on them, to see the Word of God lived by one of their own. Whenever we go, we gather in one of the huts and sing, pray, preach. There is so much potential there! Please, keep them and us in your prayers!"

In Christ,
Andrei and Ana Vasile ECM Team - Romania

We praise God for the new life He has given us. Our words are not enough to express it, but our hearts are really full of gratitude. We love the light of the Lord and we pray that those who we share the Gospel with love it too. For ever.

· Monday the 21st was the second time we went together with George and Dragos to the gypsy area in Campina. We stopped at the little house we built for them a couple of years ago. They are people we meet with at least once or twice a month. We help them in different ways (clothing, furniture, work etc.) but on Monday we stopped to share the Gospel. This time, they were not as many as the first time – some were away – but the ones who did attend were paying so much attention, as if they would not want to miss any word. We understood once again that those who are moved by the Spirit of God to listen, nothing can distract their attention. And we praise the Lord for George, because he knew how to speak their way. One of the young mothers there, a 16 year old girl, came to the church the evening before that, on Sunday, because she “sensed” she should do that. It made us happy.

The kids at the Bible club are growing. In Campina and Comarnic just the same. And we do pray that everything they learn with us would work in their lives, at the right time, so that they might have a true regeneration. The seed is seeded into their hearts for a few years now. Some were worried we want to teach them how to be a baptist; no, we’re teaching them what it means to be a Christian. Through the Bible, through our talking, walking and relating. This past Sunday, we had a baptism at the church in Campina. We invited Gabi, the boy from the kids club in Comarnic. He could not believe that the girl who was baptised was not forced to do so, but it was something she willed. He could not believe that the pastor who preached came to faith when he was serving in the army. He could not believe that God works, in his own words “so over the top”, to such extremes. But by grace, he should believe it. And not just him, others too, because our God is alive, He cares for us, He’s involved, He is going to extremes for us, He crosses mountains and divides seas, He fights for every hair on our head. This is our God!

· We are now preparing the Bible contest which is on December 10. And we study about worship, from Psalm 145:1-5, Matt. 1 and 2 and Luke 1 and 2. Pray, because when we talk about worship, their idea of it is completly different then the evangelicals’. We also prepare a few songs and Bible verses for the Christmas Eve celebration, at church. Two of the Comarnic kids said they’ll come, and more from Campina. We told them to invite their parents as well.

All these plans and others, on how to reach more and more people, gypsies and non gypsies, are in God’s hands, where we place them in prayer. We don’t know what tomorrow holds, as a song says, but we know Who holds tomorrow. And maybe this time, He will go to even more extremes then we expect.

Thank your for such valuable prayer and support,
In Christ, Andrei and Ana Vasile

Dear friends,

We find ourselves at the beginning of a new year, by the grace of God!
Still learning, still serving. All we look for is that Christ would increase and that we may decrease. We ended last year praising The Lord for His infinite kindness toward us.

We took the kids from Câmpina, Comarnic, Sat miner and Filipești to the movies and KFC, as a reward for their study of Scripture! The kids from Câmpina Bible Club had a wonderful Carol program in English and Spanish.
Then the parents and relatives of the kids from Comarnic Bible club were visited by our team of Christmas carolers and it was great to share Christ through singing!
Now the holiday is over and classes began again at the kids club. We're happy to have the downstairs ready for use in Comarnic' Church building.
Please pray for the advance of the Gospel in Prahova area!we seek to honor Christ and the enemy does not like it.

In Christ ' love,
Andrei and Ana Vasile

Dear partners in the work of our God,
Our Lord Jesus teaches us compassion, among many things. He had compassion for the masses, for they seem to be like sheep without shepherd.

It’s not long ago that a young gypsy family, with three small children, was left without a home. Their mud hut caught fire and the few things they had burned.

As a church, we wanted to help. We waited to gather some of the material and of course some of the money and we started to build.
In just a few days’ worth of work, the house was finally erected. We worked on the walls and now we’re at that stage when we plaster the walls. We were just a handful of people but our Lord was on our side. Even when we were all taken down by either a virus of a sun stroke. The Lord is good to us and He helps us help others. To live the Christian life, practically, is in itself a test of faith that we must take daily in front of others.

Autumn is here. That’s when the kids in the Bible clubs in Campina, Comarnic and Miner Village are starting school. The summer pick nick we held in Comarnic was a good time for the kids and some of their parents to meet and have fun together. The kids continue with their English lessons and will start again their Spanish classes, soon. Their Bible knowledge was put to test in a special competition we had this summer. It was interesting to see how the kids with no evangelical background came to give their best. They had to read, memorize, and remember places, event all from the Bible. another competition is being prepared now for December.

Work is furthering at the church in Campina where we’re preparing a side building that would serve as a youth place, Bible study place and other church activities; it’s a good size place, right next to the church, being reconditioned and prepared for whatever our Lord has prepared in the future. The ground floor at the church in Comarnic still needs painting. We replaced the old windows, put some of the tiles and praying we’ll have enough money to continue with building the indoor toilets. But events will continue there, the nearest one is celebrating Thanksgiving October 18th.

In everything, we see God’s intervention; moving people to be compassionate and chip in with bits and bobs, arranging event and building relationships for His Kingdom’ sake.

Everything moves in God’s set rhythm.
Taking further the word of God, for His honor and glory,
Andrei and Ana Vasile.

The day the kids from the kids club has finally arrived. Going to the zoo near Ploiesti with kids from Comarnic, Sat Miner and Campina was a great adventure and we praise God for it! We had 4 kids from Sat Miner, 7 from Campina and 6 from Comarnic!

And to top it all, we met there with the kids from Filipesti Bible Club! We represented there 4 churches and yet 90% of the kids do not trust the Lord as their Savior! The fellowship and the chemistry between the children were great. After visiting the zoo we prayed, we said grace and had lunch we prepared beforehand at church. What a marvelous thing to see kids interact and just enjoy themselves! They can’t wait for us to organize another outing. And we believe them because most of them don’t get out of their own little town very much.

We just want to say thank you for helping us invest in them!
May the Lord our God continue to manifest His loving-kindness in their life!

What a glorious way to spend our Sunday evening service! Our young people from Campina church and the young people from Sat Miner went together to the village of Ciuta, Buzau, to encourage the gypsy believers there. Only this time we brought with us seven gypsy people from Campina, non-believers. We pray our Lord will work in their lives and make them beloved children of God. We also pray for wisdom as we plan to start a reading and writing teaching program for them!

Please pray with us!

In Christ,

Dear friends, It was joy to have been in Campina recently to serve with our team in the Prahova region of Romania. We had a leadership conference on Saturday. I was encouraged by the turn out and interest of each man in our time of learning together.
Then on Sunday we went to Comarnic, a small town 20 minutes north of Campina. Our prayer and work in Comarnic is to have a church plant there. We have started with a focus on the children in the area. We were greatly encouraged to also have a mother and grandmother come as well.

Please pray for this vital work in a town in need of our Lord's church!
Thank you!
In Christ,
Dwight Stone
